Enzo Media Mgr Programming Instructions
Applies to:
     FG3211-01 NMX-MM-1000, ENZO MEDIA MGR

Necessary tools:
NetLinx Studio Build 908 or greater(if upgrading via Master)
USB Flash Drive (if upgrading via USB)

NOTE: Enzo does not support connection or upgrade via Virtual Netlinx Master.

Necessary files:

SW3211-01-KIT (SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.zip) containing:
   - SW3211-01-KIT Programming Instructions.txt (this file)
   - FG3211-01-Readme.txt (release notes)
   - SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.kit


Firmware Upgrade Preparation:

1) Extract the zip file "SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.zip".
2) This will create "SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.kit" and "SW3211-01-KIT Programming Instructions.txt".


Option 1: Upgrading via USB flash drive:

1) Insert the USB flash drive in the PC USB port.
2) Copy "SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.kit" onto the USB flash drive. (NOTE: Make a note of where you copied it to. You will have to navigate to that directory and select the using the AMXUpdater program)
3) Eject or unmount the flash drive.
4) Connect the Flash drive to one of the USB Type A ports on 
5) Navigate to "System Settings". Pressing Shift+F12 is the keyboard shortcut to "System Settings".  Alternatively, select "Options->Settings->System Settings" from the Home screen.
5) Navigate to the "Reset and Update" menu and select it. Enter the password required to enter the menu option.
6) Select the "Update Firmware" option and select "Install Firmware from USB".
7) When the KIT File Browser launches, navigate to the directory you placed the SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.kit and select the kit file.
8) Select "Yes"  at the Yes/No dialog to update using the selected KIT file. Once 'Yes' is selected, the panel will automatically begin the update by rebooting.
9) Once the panel reboots it will perform the firmware upgrade.  After the upgrade, the unit contains the v1.7.11 release.

Option 2: Upgrading via NETLINX

1) Once the Enzo is booted, select the appropriate method for master connection.
2) Ensure the reboot device button is checked.
3) Begin the upgrade by downloading the "SW3211-01_Enzo_v1_7_11.kit".
4) After the transfer, the Enzo device will reboot and perform the firmware upgrade.  After the upgrade, the unit contains the v1.7.11 release.
